With a SkidSteer, backhoe, and several trips to the dump, it was all cleared away in a few days. Impressive work.

Our new family project
Here it is--
And was there ever a piece of property more deserving of help from the highly skilled team on PBS's "This Old House"?
But, alas, the experts of TOH won't be coming to Scobey anytime soon. According to the TOH website, they only take on two projects a year--one in the fall and always in the Boston area, the other in winter, and always in a mild climate.
So, the cold and windy winters of north-eastern Montana have dashed our (pipe)dreams of help coming from Boston.
Therefore, we will charge ahead on our own, with help from the local experts as we need it. We'll train up our own team of master builders, and call it the Cole Crew. We may not know much, but boy, are we going to learn. Scroll down for the first installment of photos, and "stay tuned."
